Hello, nice to see you here!

I’m Derek Galon, a professional photographer and videographer based in Dominica, Eastern Caribbean.

I am involved in many types of photography and video production. From portraits and studio art, through nature, real estate and architecture, advertising, product & food photography – to family and wedding photography / video, fashion, nature, drone aerials, drone mapping, portraits in nature, and time lapse photography. Dominica and surrounding Caribbean islands. I have over 40 years of experience and won dozens of medals. I also received prestigious Fellowship of Royal Photographic Society (UK) for work excellence (only the 10th Canadian to get it). So I can say – I do it rather well. I also offer various services to film crews and broadcasting companies, and landscape workshops.
